Sunday Night Hoops (skills) Program Schedule

The session consist of four classes design to aid your young athlete in skill development. From dribbling to driving and from shooting to defending, we build skills. We offer this program at 2 locations: Swisher Courts (SC) and Game On (GO).

NTGG Basketball Academy Starts January 10, 2012

We are proud to introduce the NTGG Basketball Academy, the academy is designed to introduce young athletes to basketball.
Kindergarten-2nd grade (we will use an eight foot goal) The areas of focus will be: Dribbling, Lay-ups, Intro to shooting & Passing

Fundamental skills will be reinforced and implemented in challenging game situations. Your athlete will receive additional training in advanced passing and shooting, speed dribbling, defensive techniques and cooperative teamwork.

Dribblers Performance Group (DPG) Coming Soon

DPG is a dribbling performance group. DPG are boys and girls grades 3rd – 5th. Uniforms will be required for Dribblers at an additional cost.

NTGG & Sisterbration have partnered to bring you…

This program is designed to combine the sport component (NTGG basketball) with the health education component (Sisterbration). NTGG will train the girls for 1 hour each week, while Sisterbration will train the girls in health education for 45 minutes each week. Sisterbration will also offer a healthy snack to the participants. This program is seeking girls (Middle School girls) that may not have these resources readily available to them in their community (this is a requirement to be eligible for this program) . 3 on 3 Round Robin Basketball League, Starts March 10, 2012

(With 20 minutes of Skill Development & 30 minutes of Game Play)

This league is designed to help young athletes develop into basketball players, not position players. With 20 minutes of skill development and 30 minutes of game play, your young athlete will learn valuable skills and maintain a passion for the game. This is not your historical basketball league. Your young athlete does not need to join the league with a team. We will divide the players into teams each Saturday. By dividing the players into teams we will increase player interaction, allowing the player to develop good sportsmanship and friendships while competing. The players will play all positions, furthering their basketball IQ. The teams will play man to man defense and learn help and recover techniques. This will prove to be a highly effective league to help further your young athletes basketball game.

9th-11th grade – eXecuters

Your athlete will focus on mastering skills for specific positions. Complex basketball executions of full-court defense, offense and ball-handling will be combined with discipline training that will help your athlete go to the next level.

Shoot It (All ages)

Shoot It is a 1 on 1 private media session taping the player shooting the basketball. We work to correct the shooting form through media and coaching. Seeing is believing, in this case. Cost: $10 (available through Private Lessons)
